XNA sometimes flickers a Purple Screen

description

There is a problem with the way the RenderTargets are used because, sometimes the screen will flicker purple, which is what it does when rendering an empty RenderTarget. (Noticed while watching an mpeg file)

XNA build has been scrapped.

Reason:
Using Managed DirectX it is easier to access surfaces and therefore easier and less "hacked" to provide DirectShow Video Playback.

XNA applications also has the downside of needing a lot of extra installs in order to function (XNA framework and such)
